We invite you to attend our huge Civil War Reenactment, Major General Lew Wallace & Headquarters, working blacksmith shop, Blue/Gray Ball, mock battles, skits and sutlers. There will be home-cooked hot meals and hundreds of fresh pies and sweet breads including free sassafras tea and cookies. This event is sponsored by the Jennings County Historical Society and all proceeds are used to support the Historical Society’s museum and preserve our county’s rich history.

Saturday, April 24th
9am-5pm: Encampments open to the public for visitation. Visit all the encampments. Very authentic first person characters, skits, skirmishes, performing arts, sutlers, working blacksmith shop, lace making and tatting demonstrations, 1860's ladies fashions.
9am-5pm: Museum bake sale; hot meals; hundreds of pies, free Sassafrass tea and cookies.
1:15pm: Muscatatuck Park Mock Battles. Admission is $5.00 per vehicle. (Bring something to sit on such as a blanket or lawn chair).
7:00pm: Blue/Grey Ball (Vernon Gym). Live music by the Skip Jack Band. Admission is free.
Sunday, April 25th
9am-3pm: Working Blacksmith Shop, encampments open, skits, skirmishes, demonstrations in old time arts, tatting, weaving, and many more!
9am-4pm: Museum open serving hot meals; Free Sassafrass tea and cookies and huge bake sale.
1:15pm: Battle at Muscatatuck Park. Admission is $5.00 per vehicle. (Bring something to sit on such as a blanket or lawn chair)
3pm: Reenactors and sutlers break camp
4pm: Festival ends.
